During college, I fished as a non-boater on the B.A.S.S tour, giving me valuable insight as to what is expected of a touring pro. This experience, along with my previous fishing background, provided me with a solid foundation on which to build my professional bass fishing career.
Each of my seven years on the tour has been marked by consistent achievement and growing success, reflecting my dedication, abilities, and potential.
During the off season, I like to spend my time with family and friends, including my wife, sharing my fishing experiences with her elementary class. I also use this time to strengthen my relationship with my sponsors, and show my appreciation for their support by helping promote and market their products at shows and various venues. For the last three years, I have been dedicated to the being the Arkansas South Director for a division of the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail.

Bass competition includes a personal quest to be the best, a never ending desire to stay on top. Being a Bass Professional however, encompasses much more: exposure, involvement, product marketing, experience, excitement and attitude.
Competing and marketing merge into one package where my sponsors, my audience, and my peers continually involve themselves with each other to further the pursuit of their angling enterprises and lifestyles.
